WHAT DOES THE COLOUR OF EACH METAL STRENGTHENER MEAN?
The colours of the grip strengtheners reflect the various tension levels available - 50lb (Pink), 100lb (Purple), 150lb (Blue), 200lb (Red), 250lb (Black), 300lb (Silver) and 350lb (Gold).
ARE THESE PRODUCTS EFFECTIVE FOR REHABILITATION?
Yes, both the Metal Grip Strengtheners and Power Gripper are very effective for rehabilitation. If you are suffering from an injury, we recommend that you start with a low-tension level and gradually increase the tension as you recover and grow stronger (this may require going up a level in the Metal Grip Strengtheners or simply adjusting the tension of your Power Gripper). Using these strengtheners even just for a couple of minutes a day is enough to gently rehabilitate an injury in the hand, wrist and forearm by repairing damaged tissue and rebuilding strength.
WHICH METAL GRIP STRENGTHENER IS BEST FOR REHABILITATION?
We always recommend starting with a low-tension strengthener first for rehabilitation. If you are at the beginning stages of your rehabilitation, then it might be a good idea to start with the lowest tension level (50lb). The 150lb strengthener might be better suited to you if you have semi progressed through your rehab progress and are already feeling somewhat stronger.
WHICH METAL GRIP STRENGTHENER IS BEST FOR INTENSE STRENGTHENING?
Which strengthener you choose should depend entirely on your fitness level. It is important to judge this as best you can, as you do not want to risk over-exerting yourself and causing injury. For advanced-level athletes who already practice strengthening on a regular basis (such as lift weights or very frequently practice a grip-based sport, such as tennis, martial arts, climbing, cycling, etc.) we recommend the 150lb, 200lb or 250lb (advanced) Metal Grip Strengtheners. The 300lb and 350lb Grippers are recommended for semi-professional and elite level users.
ARE THE METAL GRIP STRENGTHENERS ALSO SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?
Yes. The Metal Grip Strengtheners are suitable for both beginners and pros alike. We recommend that you start at a tension level which you feel is most suited to your level of fitness. If you regularly lift weights or do another form of intense strength training, then you may be ready to start with one of the high-tension strengtheners. If you are completely new to strength training or if you are looking to rehabilitate an injury, then it might be best for you to start with a low-level strengthener.
